Autonomousrobotic can act on their own, independent of any controller. The basic idea is to program the robot to respond to the external stimuli. In this course, you will develop a basic autonomous robot, which uses vision guided sensors. For the robot to move along a defined path a programmed Arduino board is used. Arduino is an embedded system which acts as a brain for thousands of projects, from everyday object to complex scientific instruments. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the micro controller on the board.
In this course, Autonomous Robot detects the path using infra-red sensors which work on the principle of reflection of light. They estimate whether the line underneath them is shifting towards their left/right as they move over them.
This project-based course is a great entry into the world of Arduino and robotics for high school students. By doing it yourself, you’ll understand the Arduino programming and basics of robotics to build a line follower and obstacle avoider robot.
